We specialize in the testing, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical systems and are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Electrician Technician Level II to join our team. Key Responsibilities : Perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of low, medium, and high voltage electrical equipment. Including but not limited to transformers, switchgear, power cables, circuit breakers, and grounding systems.Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting of complex electrical systems in low, medium, and high-voltage substations.Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing on-the-job training and guidance.Develop and track project-specific documentation, including test reports, equipment data sheets, and compliance records.Collaborate with engineers and project managers to identify, troubleshoot, resolve problems to ensure project goals are met on time and within scope.Ensure adherence to safety standards (OSHA, NEC) and company safety policies, including completing safety analysis of job tasks.Maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service.Prepare detailed technical reports and communicate findings and recommendations to customers and the management team.Travel to client sites as required.Other duties as required. Qualifications : High School Diploma or GED required; Completion of two or more years of technical education in electrical field or related field experience, preferred.Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in electrical testing, commissioning, and maintenance in low, medium, high-voltage systems.Valid drivers license; Certifications in electrical testing and safety standards (e.g., OSHA 30, NFPA 70E) preferred.Strong knowledge and understanding of lockout / tagout procedures and requirements, arc flash and shock hazard analyses, electrical energy control procedures.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship, work authorization is a precondition of employment.Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check (and random drug screens). Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., work outdoors in various weather conditions, and work in confined spaces.Must be able to perform physical labor including climbing ladders, standing for extended periods of time, drive regularly, fly regularly.Ability to use hand tools and power tools.Approximately 70% travel within specified geographic area is required. Overnight stays and travel may be required.
