What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control - Sumner position at Load Trail LLC?
Requirements:
General Hours are Monday thru Thursday 6am-3pm Friday 6am-12pm. Overtime as needed, which may include Saturday from 6am-12pm.
Responsibilities:
- Performs 100% Visual Inspection of welds
- Inspects other aspects such as part placement and measurements
- Checks work order accuracy
- Reports to Supervisor about any quality deficiencies in final product
- Reports mistakes or welding problems and tracks the Daily Information
- Maintain accurate records in a data entry system
- Report the outcome of each part and/or trailer inspected
- Performs project specific inspection
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience with Visual Inspection in a Manufacturing Environment
- Proficient in the use of Inspection Tools and Measuring Equipment such as
- Tape Measure and speed square
- Ability to multi-task in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to Work well in a Team oriented environment or individually
- Experience as a Welding Inspector or as a Qualified Welder is preferred
