What are the responsibilities and job description for the PLANT MANAGER position at Loadmaster Corporation?
Summary
Responsible for managing all aspects of manufacturing operations. Responsible to deliver results that meet quality and safety expectations. Coordinates with various department leads such as Human Resources, and Maintenance directly or indirectly. Responsible for meeting production weekly and annual unit goals.
Essential Functions

- Manage, plan, and schedule the daily operations in the plant.
- Oversee all plant functions including maintenance, safety, cleanliness, directing supplies and purchased parts through the plant.
- Take part with interviewing, training, and evaluating teammates.
- Schedules weekly production to meet customer delivery dates
- Completes annual reviews of teammates
- Coaches and mentors’ teammates to be successful in their role and grow with the company
- Assemble department meetings to ensure teammates are informed on business/ production expectations, promoting continuous improvement.
- Complete daily and weekly timecard corrections to ensure payroll accuracy
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Attention to Detail is a must
- Develop way’s of maximizing production efficiency through process and work flow improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and/or Experience
Experience in a leadership role
Experience working in a manufacturing setting
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination education and experience
