Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older and legally able to work in the US.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Forklift operator certification preferred, but not required.
- Successful completion of drug screen, physical and background check.
- Demonstrated stable work history with positive references from previous employers, indicating reliability and competence.
- Follow all plant safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Consistently arrive on time and ready to work for scheduled shifts.
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of equipment in a highly automated process, ensuring optimal performance.
- Inspect drums to verify they are in good condition and suitable for use.
- Check paperwork for accuracy and generate precise labels for products as required.
- Input shipping information into the database accurately to maintain proper records.
- Maintain open communication with supervisors and the superintendent during operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor the safe loading process of drums onto pallets and trucks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Operate a scanner and forklift to maneuver drums onto pallets and trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning up spillages promptly to uphold safety standards.
- Full Time
- Monday – Friday
- 8-hour shift (1:30 pm -9:00 pm)
- Hours may flex at times to meet shipping schedules
- Proficiency in English, including speaking, writing, reading, and auditory comprehension.
- Successfully pass a required medical examination to ensure fitness for the job.
- Demonstrate the ability to safely operate industrial equipment as necessary for job duties.
- Capable of operating a computer for data input purposes.
- Wear all the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Lift, carry, grip, hold, and/or pull objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Walk distances ranging from one to six miles per shift.
- Climb stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and step two feet horizontally and vertically while maintaining normal arm range of motion during standing and squatting activities.
