What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marine Cargo Risk Manager position at Loadsure?
Loadsure is seeking a Marine Cargo Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on marine cargo insurance policies to our customers.
Key responsibilities include sourcing submissions from assigned trading partners, growing the broker source usage based business for single shipments and shipper interest clients, and reviewing and providing clearance on high-value shipment referrals within your partners and territory.
You will also be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate data entry in the Loadsure portal, maintaining your book of business by providing timely renewals to brokers and assureds, and liaising with claims, finance, compliance, and engineering teams on matters affecting or relating to accounts within the portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ocean and inland marine insurance, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. You will also need to have excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
