Experienced Seamstress

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in garment construction and the ability to fabricate high-quality clothing items. This position requires proficiency in using sewing machines and a keen eye for detail to ensure that all finished products meet our quality standards.

Duties

• Operate sewing machines to construct garments according to specifications.
• Fabricate clothing items from various types of fabric, ensuring precision and quality in every stitch.
• Perform alterations and repairs on existing garments as needed.
• Collaborate with design teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the warehouse environment.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards before distribution.
• Keep track of materials and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Seamstress or in a similar role within the garment industry.
• Proficiency in operating various types of sewing machines and tools.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques and fabric types.
• Ability to work efficiently in a warehouse setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• A passion for sewing and fashion, with an eye for design aesthetics is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 20 per week
