What are the responsibilities and job description for the Investor Reporting Analyst position at loanDepot?
Position Summary:
Responsible for carrying out all investor related activities and providing key oversight for assigned investor portfolios. Ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
Responsibilities:
- Manages complex daily processes to ensure timely reporting, remitting and compliance in accordance with investor guidelines and servicing agreements.
- Reconciles, reports and remits to various investors including private label securitizations, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and/or Ginnie Mae providing approval to process.
- Reconciles pool to security, test of expected cash, and shortage/surplus differences.
- Reconciles custodial accounts as per servicing guidelines.
- Assists in setting up Investors & securities in our servicing operational system (MSP/ICE).
- Assists in transferring loans into their corresponding investor groups as needed.
- Conducts complex business process reviews and provides management with input on improvements; provides senior level decision making and insight on reporting issues.
- Completes necessary research to ensure resolution of any discrepancies and assists in resolving issues.
- Performs other duties and projects assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but relevant job experience may be considered.
- Minimum of six (5) years of experience required in investor reporting, for all remittance types including actual / actual, scheduled / scheduled and scheduled / actual.
- Working knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and/or GNMA reporting knowledge.
- Working knowledge of Black Knight MSP/ICE servicing system preferred.
