Position Overview
The Human Resource Manager will play a critical role in shaping Loanhouse’s workforce by leading recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, and HR strategy. This individual must have strong talent acquisition skills, particularly in sourcing and hiring top mortgage industry professionals. Additionally, they should possess a solid understanding of industry regulations and best practices to support a high-performing and compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top mortgage professionals.
- Manage the full-cycle hiring process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, recruiters, and job boards.
- Enhance employer branding to position Loanhouse as an employer of choice in the mortgage sector.
HR Strategy & Employee Relations
- Oversee all HR functions, including benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, and performance management.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that supports employee engagement and professional growth.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards and labor laws.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management on HR-related matters.
Compliance & Training
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, mortgage industry regulations, and company policies.
- Implement and oversee training programs for employees to enhance skills and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Performance & Retention
- Develop and manage performance evaluation processes to drive employee growth and success.
- Implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and enhance employee satisfaction.
- Conduct regular workforce assessments to identify areas for improvement and development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in Human resources in the mortgage or financial services industry.
- Strong talent acquisition and recruiting experience, particularly in mortgage lending or financial services.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus.
