What are the responsibilities and job description for the Underwriting Training Administrator position at LoanStream Mortgage, Wholesale Lending Division?
Summary: The Training Administrator position is a full time role that will focus heavily on the administration of underwriting training curriculum and materials. The position will require the delivery of training verbally and in writing to assist newly hired underwriters as well as ongoing training for the underwriting department to keep staff abreast of current and changing industry guidelines and standards. Experience
5-7 years of experience in mortgage services with a minimum of 5 years in mortgage underwriting, underwriting training, or underwriting administration. Experience underwriting conventional, government and/or non-QM loans is required. FHA DE required; VA SAR/LAPP a plus but not required.

- Must be able to train and support newly hired underwriting personnel in the day-to-day requirements of the position.
- Deliver ongoing training to the Underwriting Department as needed:
- Ongoing training on identifying Reg Flags,
- Addressing Quality Control findings
- Training on internal guidelines and product updates.
- Demonstrated familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) SharePoint experience preferred but not required.
- Encompass experience required.
- Patience and the ability to thoroughly explain/break down topics verbally and in writing, so they are easily digestible and retained.
- Exceptional writing skills and ability to create training materials such as manuals, job aids and checklists.
- This individual will be expected to create and maintain training curriculum and other documents on the Training and Underwriting Department intranet sites.
- Demonstrate and maintain strong knowledge of current industry guidelines, mortgage compliance rules, agency underwriting guidelines and industry standards for appraisal requirements and regulatory compliance.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
