Lobo Active After-School in Clear Lake, 77062 is seeking individuals who enjoy working with children ages 5 -14 years.
After school staff will engage in active activities with children kindergarten - 14 years. Children are divided into age groups and will engage in activities such as basketball, group games, homework time, outside play, karaoke, volleyball, soccer, rock wall, arts/crafts,& more.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are dependable with strong management skills. Days/Hours Monday- Friday. Hours 3:00 - 6:30 pm. Additional hours are available.
Summary
As an After School Teacher, you will leverage your core skills in childcare, experience with children, and camp activities to create a safe and engaging learning environment for students. Your premium skills in classroom management, first aid, and teaching will be instrumental in effectively guiding and supporting students in their educational journey. With relevant skills in tutoring, sports coaching, and behavior management, you will have the opportunity to positively impact students' academic and personal growth. Qualifications
- Experience with children, childcare, and camps
- Classroom management skills and experience in teaching
- First aid certification
- Ability to work with students in special education
