Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an enriching summer camp experience. The Camp Counselor will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment for campers while fostering their personal growth and development. This role requires a passion for working with children, strong leadership skills, and the ability to educate and inspire.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan, organize, and lead recreational activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and skill development.
- Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth, encouraging positive social interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for all camp activities.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff members regarding camper progress and any concerns.
- Implement first aid procedures as necessary and maintain a safe camp environment.
- Assist in the development of educational programs that align with childhood development principles.
Requirements
- Experience working with students or children in a childcare, daycare, or educational setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Passion for working with children and creating memorable experiences in a camp setting.

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
