Job Description
LAE is a provider of Professional Municipal Public Works Engineering Management services to cities and other public agencies. The firm specializes in Project / Construction / Program Management, virtual / in-person Staff Augmentation and Inspection Services to Cities.
Who we are looking for :
A Civil / Public Works Engineer to manage Public Works projects (e.g. roadway resurfacing / rehabilitation / reconstruction, water, sewer, storm drain, parking lots and traffic signal). The selected person will be managing a variety of Capital Improvements Program (CIP) projects for our City and Water District clients in various counties. The ideal candidates should have 7-10 years of professional and technical experience working on public works
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Work with our engineers, project managers, public works inspectors, outside civil / traffic design and geo-technical engineers
- Manage a variety of roadway, storm drain facility, water, sewer lines and utilities projects
- Prepare project schedules and track progress of various projects
- Work as an extension of our public sector clients staff
- Attend and participate in various meetings
- Perform other Public Works project management functions as assigned
