Experienced Auto Glass Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in auto glass installation and repair, ensuring that vehicles are safe and functional for our customers. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various hand tools while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties

• Perform installation and repair of automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, sunroofs and rear windows.
• Assess damage and determine appropriate repair methods for various types of auto glass.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to assemble and install glass components.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of jobs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections pre- and post-installation to ensure proper fit and functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
• Assist with heavy lifting of glass materials as needed during the installation process.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns regarding the installation process.
• ADAS Recalibration Certified a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in auto glass installation or related fields such as automotive repair or auto body repair is required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow specific instructions accurately.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices is a plus.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with the role.
• Proficient in using hand tools and equipment relevant to glass installation.
• Experience working in a dealership setting is advantageous but not required.
• A valid driver's license may be necessary depending on job requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
