Commercial Cleaner-Evenings

At Local Cleaners, we are looking for strong team members with excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our facilities as a PRN(as needed) member. The goal is to enhance customer experience by keeping our customers' homes and buildings in clean and orderly condition. This is an as needed employee with the opportunity to pick up shifts that become available. You will be trained to clean all of our commercial buildings in order to be able to step in as needed.

Essential Functions
Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, extracting carpet, stripping and waxing floors, removing trash, recycling, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms, polishing outside area within 10 feet of entryways, washing windows, cleaning of desks/walls/ furniture/ doors/ entry glass/ interior glass/counter tops/ whiteboards/blinds and light fixtures, and any other duties as directed by custodial supervisor or his/her designated representative.

Responsibilities

• Cover shifts when we have call offs or are needing additional help on a job.
• Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
• Clean designated areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, etc.),
• Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies
• Wash windows, windowsills, doors, and spot clean interior walls as needed
• Disinfect work areas, doorknobs, and other high-touch areas
• Perform periodic deep-cleans on all designated areas
• Empty trash and remove for pickup and disposal

Skills

• Proven cleaning experience demonstrated on resume, if no cleaning experience, then be able to learn
• Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated
• Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
• Knowledge of English language
• High School Degree / GED (PREFERRED)

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience within the last two years (STRONG!Y RECOMMENDED)
• Minimum of 21 years of age (PREFERRED)
• Reliable transportation is REQUIRED to get to cleaning location
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
• Capable of speaking, writing, and reading English

Monday-Friday 6:00pm-9:00pm or 10:00pm
