Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and clean environment for both employees and visitors. This role requires a proactive individual who can perform custodial tasks efficiently while also assisting with general facilities maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to ensure surfaces are clean and presentable.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Monitor supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working condition and properly maintained.
- Respond promptly to requests for cleaning or maintenance from staff or management.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with team members and visitors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift and move items as necessary for cleaning tasks.
- 18 years or older

Monday-Friday; 16-25 hrs/week; scheduled hours will vary between the hours of 7:00AM-3:00 PM
Pay: $16.50/hr
