Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Terminal Yard Associate and Local/Reg Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the Pharr, TX yard activities and transporting rental containers safely and efficiently within designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. The Local/Reg Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver License (no CDL required).
- Welding experience
- Forklift Operator experience (certification preferred).
- Flexible with work schedule - able to work late (if needed) and start late or depart early another day if needed.
- Ability to be work effectively with minimum to no supervision
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- A commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of driving and delivery operations.
Duties
- Operate a Ford F-350 for local/reg container deliveries
- Operate a Landoll trailer (tiltbed) for local/regional container deliveries.
- Load and unload deliveries by associate (self).
- Repair by welding damaged containers.
- Install and weld security boxes on company containers.
- Maintain accurate and daily inventory control.
- Operate Forklift to stack and unstack containers at yard.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo while maintaining the integrity of goods transported.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Navigate local routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatcher and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
