We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter/Maintenance professional to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our client' facilities are clean, well-maintained, and safe for both staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform various maintenance tasks effectively.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the facility, including common areas, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to management.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events or meetings held on-site.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance materials, placing orders as necessary.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and visitors.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify maintenance needs.
- Basic knowledge of building systems, and general repair techniques.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and management.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
