Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Front Counter Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, excellent people management skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. As an assistant manager, you will be an operational manager and need to be comfortable working on the floor throughout your shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the manager to insuring a well-run shift
• Opening and closing duties
• Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Accurately take and process orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently and securely.
• Answer customer inquiries about the menu and provide recommendations.
• Assist with packaging food orders and maintaining order accuracy.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of current menu items, promotions, and specials.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in customer service role.
• Previous experience in restaurant management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
