Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create menus in collaboration with colleagues
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Oversee kitchen staff and provide guidance and training as needed
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new dishes and improve existing ones
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of meals for restaurant, banquets, and catering events
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
-Banquet Experience
- Proven experience as a chef or in a similar role
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and procedures
- Excellent menu planning skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Familiarity with shift management techniques
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including bartending, is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
