Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a desire to contribute to creating beautiful landscapes. This role involves performing various tasks related to landscaping, groundskeeping, and maintaining outdoor spaces. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Assist in snow plowing during winter months to maintain clear pathways and driveways.
- Participate in hardscape installations, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Perform tree trimming and care to promote healthy growth and aesthetics.
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers as part of landscape design.
- Maintain gardens by planting, weeding, mulching, and watering as needed.
- Conduct regular groundskeeping tasks such as mowing lawns, raking leaves, and cleaning debris.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while ensuring quality workmanship.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners), mowers, garden tractor, mini-hoe and power tools (chainsaws, blowers) is a plus.
- Experience in snow plowing is beneficial during the winter season.
- Knowledge of hardscape installation techniques is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of tree care practices and gardening principles is desirable.
