What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Estimator / Architectural Woodwork position at Local Millwork Company?
We are currently seeking to hire a Lead Estimator / Sales Executive to join our team! The objective of this position is to generate revenue for the company through successful project sales efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Identify best opportunities to bid.
- Cultivate opportunities into sales for the company.
- Develop relationships with general contractors, strategic individuals, developers and owners that will lead to successful sales opportunities for the Company.
- Prepare estimates for use in planning, organizing and scheduling work
- Analyze drawings and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials and labor estimates
- Oversee and coordinate the awarded projects with production team
- Establish sales territories, quotas, and goals for the sales team
- Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting
- Report on team and individual performance
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
- Build and form new partnerships with potential clients
Your role: Generate sales for interior commercial projects across the New York City area. You will have the ability to deal with deadlines and create several estimates simultaneously at any one time.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful individual will have at a minimum 5 years' prior Estimating experience and be comfortable in bidding projects valued to $1-5M.

The successful individual can expect a generous base salary, commission, and annual bonus.
