Local Motion seeks a complete streets advocate with grant and personnel management experience to join our fun, values-driven team based on Burlington’s beautiful waterfront. Leading the Program Team of our non-profit organization, you will help fulfill our mission to make it safe, accessible, and fun for everyone to bike, walk, and roll in Vermont.
Position Overview: The Programs Manager leads Local Motion’s advocacy and programs in communities and at the state level. The Manager, a content expert, will oversee the development, funding, staffing, and operation of numerous projects and programs, including the Complete Streets Program, Education and Encouragement, and Advocacy. The Manager is responsible for cultivating the movement for walking, biking, and rolling throughout Vermont, and ensuring that Local Motion is seen and supported as the leader of this movement.
