Coastline Therapy Group is actively seeking a skilled Patient Coordinator to become an integral part of our expanding team!

Coastline Therapy Group is a locally owned private practice. We offer an exceptional family-focused clinic environment for our patients and resources tailored for our team's success! Our approach is evidently effective, as showcased by our wins in Wilmington's Best of Shore for Best SLP, OT, and PT, as well as Best Clinic 2021, 2022, and 2023!!!

Coastline therapists operate across our 4 clinics in Wilmington, Burgaw, and Leland, as well as in schools, daycares, and homes throughout New Hanover, Pender, Brunswick, and Onslow counties. This flexibility empowers our therapists to transition seamlessly between different age groups and settings, should they choose to do so

Coastline's clinics offer comprehensive services for individuals of all ages, spanning diverse settings. Our clinic boasts a sensory gym on the pediatric side, complete with swings, slides, a ball pit, a zip line, and a rock climbing wall. For adults, we feature a modern PT gym alongside an array of specialized equipment and private therapy rooms. Beyond our clinics, our therapists extend their expertise to local schools, daycares, and homes. Notably, Coastline stands out as one of the only clinics in the Wilmington area that serves clients across their entire lifespan, granting therapists the unique privilege of working with both adults and children.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High Patient Volume Management: The primary responsibility of our Patient Coordinator is to greet and assist our patients with the utmost professionalism and care. Prospective candidates should be experienced in managing a high volume of patients effectively. They must possess the ability to maintain a welcoming and organized reception area, ensuring all patients feel comfortable and attended to promptly.
  • Multitasking Expertise: In a busy practice, multitasking is a fundamental skill. Our ideal candidate should thrive under pressure and be adept at handling various tasks simultaneously. From answering phone calls and scheduling appointments to managing patient records and assisting therapists, multitasking should be second nature.
  • Team Player: Collaboration is at the heart of our practice. The Patient Coordinator is an integral part of our team, working closely with therapists, team members, and patients. We are looking for someone who is not only a team player but also actively contributes to a positive and supportive work environment. Effective communication and a willingness to help colleagues are vital qualities.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision is critical when dealing with patient records, insurance claims, and billing. Our Patient Coordinator must possess a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and minimize errors. Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations is paramount.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in office software, EMR systems, and scheduling software is essential. Our candidate should be comfortable with technology and willing to adapt to new software or tools as necessary.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Our practice prides itself on providing exceptional customer service. The Patient Coordinator is often the first point of contact for patients, so outstanding interpersonal skills, empathy, and a friendly demeanor are non-negotiable.
