POSITION SUMMARY
Maintaining the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property is the main purpose of the Local Roots security team. As part of a coordinated group of professionals, the security agent will play a vital role in attaining this goal. All security agents will be trained and responsible for ensuring security in dispensary, cultivation / manufacturing, and product transportation environments. Security agents will work hand in hand with our Local Roots counterparts to ensure a safe and welcoming work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property.
- Observe daily operations, indoor and outdoor, utilizing line of sight and surveillance equipment.
- Controlling access to the facilities by operating computer and mechanical access control devices.
- Communicate with security team to maintain security protocols.
- Inspect credentials utilizing paper and digital resources to validate and ensure all entering our premises are 21 years of age or older.
- Operate and manage alarm technology to enhance safety
- Communicate with guests and coworkers to ensure safety, and regulation compliance
- Daily maintenance of surveillance, access control, alarm, and identification technologies
- Maintain detailed records and files.
- Periodic patrols inside and outside the facility.
- Operate within regulatory standards set by CCC and state / local authority.
- Comply with CCC Agent Card renewal, annual CORI check and annual RVT training.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
