Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic Food Runner/Busser/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Assist servers by ensuring tables are properly set and cleared, maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order accuracy and any special requests from guests.
- Help with bussing tables and resetting them for new customers.
- Support catering events as needed, ensuring all food service standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests with inquiries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with food handling safety practices is a plus.
- Must be able to work as part of a team and help others when needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
