The successful candidate will perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including routine repairs, cleaning, and inspections, to provide a safe and comfortable environment for faculty, guest and staff. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fixing plumbing leaks, repairing electrical fixtures, and addressing heating/cooling issues. Ground's maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, janitorial, Breakroom / supplies, pest control, catering / lunch meetings, First aid supplies/ equipment etc. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and resolve maintenance needs (e.g., broken furniture, lighting issues, or structural wear). Ensure cleanliness and organization of confrenece rooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and outdoor areas, including trash removal and minor landscaping. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from faculty or staff, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently. Assist with setting up and breaking down furniture or equipment for events, classes, or meetings as needed. Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, reporting needs to the supervisor. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Perform minor painting, carpentry, or drywall repairs as required. Report major repair needs or safety hazards to management for further action. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Provide assistance to fleet management What you'll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in maintenance or a related field is a plus. Proven experience in facility maintenance, custodial work, or general repairs (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry). Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in building maintenance. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, or climbing ladders. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively. Valid driver's license may be required, depending on facility needs. Additional qualifications (if applicable) Familiarity with HVAC systems, fire safety equipment, or other specialized maintenance areas. Experience working in an educational or institutional setting.
