Summary/Objective
The Specialty Assignment Intake Specialist is responsible for supporting the operations department in electronically outsourcing Specialty assignments to Repossession Vendors. The Specialty Assignment Specialist will ensure successful transmission of information from Location Services to the Repossession Vendor and will utilize exceptional customer service in order to assist both the Repossession Vendors and Clients.
Essential Functions
- Electronically outsourcing all Location Services Specialty assignments for repossession to Repossession Vendors via proprietary electronic platforms
- Identifying repossession vendors who will accept specialty assignments and understand the fees they would need to service the account.
- Validate preset assignment criteria to ensure quality of assignment and completes compliance checkpoints
- First point of contact for Client Assignments.
- Providing first-level support service to the Repossession Vendor and/or clients in troubleshooting systems, answering routine questions, and fee requests
- Communicating with clients to obtain clarification, request approval, and answer questions
- Communicating with agents on what fees would be needed to service specialty assignments in their areas of coverage.
Competencies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with computers and telephone
- Knowledge of repossession industry preferred but not required
- Ability to display professionalism through the work day
- Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: shifts are 6a-2:30pET and 8a-4:30pET
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are variable and based on business need.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or G.E.D required
- At least 6 months of customer service or administration in any office related industry
- Phone experience required, must be able to answer and complete multiple phone lines.
- Working Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook experience

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are variable and based on business need.
Physical Requirements
This position is indoors. Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. May be asked to lift approximately 25 lbs. Exposure to moderate noise and light, i.e. business office with computers, phone, printers, light foot traffic.
