JOB SUMMARY : L’Occitane is seeking a current student pursing a major in Visual Merchandising or Fashion Merchandising to join us as an intern.
The intern will gain general Visual Merchandising knowledge through hands-on experience.
The idea candidate must be able to commit up to 28 hours / week.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Manage communications and requests from the field, fulfilling all requests in a timely manner.Assist with the monthly campaign development, mocking tables / creating presentations.Maintain and organize the locally sourced props and signage inventory, sourcing new props and placing orders as needed.Assist in the preparation for new and renovated boutiques, including prop and signage orders and preparation of floor layout packets.Maintain office showroom, ordering product as needed.All other duties or projects as assigned.REQUIREMENTS :
EDUCATION :
Working toward a Bachelor’s degree (rising junior or senior) or Master’s degreeEXPERIENCE :
0-1 year experience in retail setting preferred.SKILLS :
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) a must.Excellent oral, written, presentation and communication skills needed.Planning and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously.Ability to manage deadlines.Interest in Beauty and Fashion.

Must be able to work in normal office conditionsMust be able to work up to 28 hours per week
