What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Military Analyst position at Loch Harbour Group?
Loch Harbour Group is seeking a Senior Military Analyst to provide high-level analytical and technical expertise in support of Army Capability Manager – Mission Command and Command Post (ACM MC/CP). The analyst will support the assessment and advancement of command and control (C2) systems, conduct Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) analysis, and assist in executing modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analytical and technical assessments of evolving and future C2 Information Systems (C2IS) and CP capabilities.
- Support the development and refinement of JCIDS documents, including Initial Capabilities Documents (ICDs), Capability Development Documents (CDDs), and Requirements Definition Packages (RDPs).
- Assist in the integration of architecture products related to JCIDS requirements.
- Represent ACM MC/CP in key forums, including Integrated Concept Development Teams (ICDTs), Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and Joint C2 workgroups.
- Provide subject matter expertise to ACM MC/CP and MC Capability Development Integration Directorate (CDID) in Army modernization initiatives.
- Coordinate with senior officials and organizations, including ASA(ALT), HQDA, AFC, and FCC on capability development and integration.
- Review and assess DOTMLPF-P documentation, including doctrinal materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs).
- Support coordination of testing, experimentation, and fielding activities related to MC and CP modernization.
- Identify, collect, and analyze Army command post data to support ACM MC/CP requirements.
- Assist in planning and coordinating Army unit command post observations, directed requirements, and experimentation efforts.
- Contribute to the development, writing, and editing of the Configurable – Command & Control Infrastructure Capabilities Development Document and provide input to various other documents.
- Communicate and coordinate across multiple staff levels, preparing ACM MC/CP senior leaders with talking points and presentations.
- Manage capabilities and contract travel funds in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and guidance from the ACM MC/CP Contract Officer's Representative (COR).
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting Army C2 systems, CP operational concepts, and capability development processes.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working with JCIDS documentation and requirements development.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience conducting analytical research and technical writing.
- Experience collaborating across multiple Army organizations and supporting high-level coordination efforts.
- Experience working with AFC-FCC, TRADOC, and HQDA operations.
- Experience contributing to high-level Army capability development discussions.
- In-depth knowledge of DoD, Joint, Army, and TRADOC institutional and operational processes, publications, and concepts.
- Ability to travel up to 10% in support of mission requirements.
- Active Secret Security Clearance Required

Hours: Monday–Friday, 0800–1700 hours (government facility hours: 0730–1700)
