Your impact:

Lead High-Profile Projects: Oversee all aspects of transportation drainage work—from proposals and scopes of work to H&H analysis, detailed PS&E packages, and final reports—ensuring each phase meets client and regulatory requirements.

Deliver Results: Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to maintain high-quality, on-time project delivery while cultivating strong client relationships.

Provide Strategic Guidance: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients such as TxDOT, RMAs, and Texas counties, recommending innovative solutions to address complex drainage challenges.

Coordinate Seamlessly: Collaborate with prime contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and efficient project delivery aligned with client objectives.

Drive Business Development: Support client engagement by preparing and presenting winning proposals, managing contract negotiations, and identifying opportunities for growth.

Mentor and Inspire: Guide junior engineers, fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture while advancing their professional development.
Who you are:
-
Texas PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months) and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.

At least 10 years of experience delivering transportation drainage projects and preparing PS&E deliverables, including 3 years in project management or task leadership.

Proficiency with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools, as well as experience with PS&E preparation using MicroStation GEOPAK or OpenRoads Designer (ORD).

Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project teams while maintaining strong client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:

TxDOT pre-certifications in 10.1.1 (Hydrologic Studies) and 10.2.1 (Basic Hydraulic Design).

Advanced modeling expertise with tools such as SWMM, InfoWorks ICM, and HEC-RAS 2D.

Experience with FEMA crossing analysis, drainage impact studies, and TCEQ water quality design.

Experience with ORD Drainage and Utilities (DU), HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS.

Work Environment
