Safe Technician

Overview
The Safe Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the security and functionality of safes and vaults within various environments, including restaurants, retail, grocery and convenient stores, etc. This position requires a blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation. You will receive excellent training, working as an apprentice for several weeks until you feel comfortable on your own. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining safes while providing exceptional service to clients.

Duties

• Install and configure various types of mechanical and smart safes according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing safe systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Analyze issues related to safe functionality and implement effective solutions.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical or mechanical problems.
• Provide insights and basic training on product features to clients.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a related field such as industrial mechanics or field service.
• Clean driving record and criminal history, as a background check is required.
• Excellent analytical skills to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed based on client requirements.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in security systems is advantageous.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively is also helpful.
• Previous experience in technical sales is a plus, enhancing client interaction capabilities.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,500.00 - $3,000.00 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
