Marketing Copywriter

Lock Labs is seeking a talented and results-driven Marketing Copywriter to join our growing team. You’ll tackle diverse and exciting projects, from attention-grabbing email campaigns and engaging product descriptions to impactful marketing collateral and scroll-stopping social media strategies. What You’ll Be Doing

• Content Creation: Write engaging web content, product descriptions, taglines, email campaigns, and other marketing collateral tailored to our target audiences.
• Technical Copy: Draft clear, concise copy for product manuals, product guides, and other technical documentation for complex processes.
• Email Campaigns: Draft effective email campaigns to communicate product launches, product developments, and company news.
• SEO and Optimization: Ensure all content is optimized for search engines and digital platforms.
• Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate product launches, campaigns, and events.
• Process Development: Create scalable content processes to maintain consistent messaging across departments, enabling sales and marketing teams to access ready-to-use copy.
• Research: Quickly learn about the locksmithing and automotive locksmith repair industries, including audience needs and trends, to inform content strategies.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: At least 4 years in copywriting, communications, PR, or a related role, or a bachelor’s degree in English, communications, or marketing.
• Strong Research Abilities: Proficient in researching technical products, target audiences, and industry trends, with an understanding of SEO best practices.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for content creation and collaboration.
• Email Marketing Expertise: Experience with platforms like MailerLite, Klaviyo, or MailChimp to create effective email campaigns.
• Project Management Familiarity: Comfortable working with tools like ClickUp or Asana to manage tasks, timelines, and collaboration.
• Exceptional Writing and Editing Skills: A strong command of grammar, tone, and style to craft clear, concise, and engaging content.
• Analytical Mindset: Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics to measure content performance and inform data-driven decisions.
• Creative Design Knowledge: Basic familiarity with design tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator - not required*
• Adaptable and Organized: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
• Customer-Centric Focus: A genuine passion for understanding and connecting with audiences through impactful content.
• Bonus Skills: Familiarity with AI tools for content generation or research, and fluency in additional languages like Spanish or Chinese is a plus!
