Private Lake Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Guard will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

• Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular inspections of the premises to prevent unauthorized access.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Provide assistance in conflict management and resolution as needed.
• Conduct loss prevention measures to deter theft and ensure the safety of property.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide support during investigations.
• Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations as required.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is advantageous.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and best practices for maintaining security.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.52 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

License/Certification:

• NYS SECURITY GUARD LICENSE (Required)
