Jeff King & Company seeks a Senior Estimator. This position will help us maintain our vision of a thriving and innovative future. We are looking for talented, highly motivated, dedicated, career-oriented professionals to join our team. The right candidate knows that good estimating is part art, part science, in order to win the project and please the client.
We seek a career oriented professional to become our Estimator and play a role in developing sales. This person will estimate and develop all projects from concept through contract. We are a fun group, looking for someone to fit in with our casual, but hardworking culture.
- Preferably five years of experience in all phases of residential remodel construction – preferably high-end architect designed projects.
- Minimum 3-5 years estimating experience.
- Excellent computer skills, especially Excel. A big plus is knowledge of construction management software (especially Procore).
- Ability to quickly read and understand blueprints / plans.
- Thorough knowledge of building technologies and practices including Green building.
- Ability to define schedules and job sequencing.
- Ability to see difficult problems in the planning phase.
- Precise and detail oriented.
- Extremely organized.
- Able to handle a high volume of estimating, and work quickly, efficiently and accurately.
- A team player able to positively communicate well with all types of personalities.
- Professional and conscientious.
- Positive attitude with the energy to fulfill all job responsibilities.
Key Attributes for the position are :
EDUCATION / CREDENTIALS :
Bachelor’s degree is a plus. Construction management, architecture or related degree or study is a plus.
