Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chiropractor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to assess and treat patients effectively. This role involves developing personalized care plans, performing physical examinations, and providing acute pain management solutions. The Chiropractor will work closely with patients to enhance their overall health and well-being through various therapeutic techniques.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine their chiropractic needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient evaluations.
- Perform physical examinations and utilize medical imaging as necessary to inform treatment decisions.
- Administer chiropractic adjustments and various therapies, including soft tissue work and other modalities.
- Perform radiograph duties and analysis with state of the art digital x-rays.
- Provide education to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in primary care and occupational health settings.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations - be effective with digital chart noting a understanding of ChiroTouch software, or familiarity of similar software applications.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state chiropractic license to practice with current malpractice insurance.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques.
- Experience in patient assessment, acute pain management, and developing care plans is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Work with insurance companies and willing to be contracted with most major medical insurances.
