Electrical Apprentice

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the electrical field. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience in various electrical tasks and learning the fundamentals of electrical systems.

Duties

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to understand electrical layouts and specifications.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete electrical work.
• Support the team in low voltage installations, ensuring compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
• Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols on construction sites.
• Collaborate with senior electricians to learn best practices in wiring, circuit installation, and system troubleshooting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of a relevant technical program is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components is preferred.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and construction site protocols is advantageous.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians.
• Must be physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting heavy materials as needed.
