Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Conduct tests using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
- Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing necessary repairs.
- Help with low voltage wiring installations for various applications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
Experience
- Previous experience or coursework related to industrial or commercial electrical work is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical concepts is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is advantageous for success in this role.
