Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and systems according to schematics and engineering drawings.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers, to ensure accurate measurements.
- Fabricate parts as needed, employing hand tools and machining techniques.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to verify compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve assembly processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Experience with welding techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and assembly processes.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred.
