We are seeking a talented Guidance, Navigation & Tracking Engineer to support the continued development and program roll out of the Advanced Rapid Integration Simulation Environment (ARISE). This role will be primarily remote, but will require onsite support as needed at Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control headquarters in Grand Prairie, TX working a 4/10 Flex schedule. This position requires a current DoD Interim Secret clearance, therefore, U.S. citizenship is required.
A Systems Engineer is required to design, develop, test and verify simulation models in support of the ARISE Modeling and Simulation (ARISE-M&S)
starter kit. Responsibilities include simulation model requirement definition, design, code, test, integration, verification, and validation. The system engineer will also be required to support program adoption efforts pertaining to new and/or legacy programs adopting ARISE M&S.

Basic Qualifications:
Proficiency in C and ability to work in Windows and Linux environments desired.
Candidate must be organized, able to assimilate large amounts of data, be inquisitive and able to work through problems arising with simulation operation and data reduction.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of GNC and experience with MATLAB and other software languages including Python desired.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
