What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Locksmith / Car Key Programmer position at LOCKS & KEYS, Inc.?
LOCKS & KEYS is seeking a skilled Automotive Locksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand tools, and cutting and programming keys.
Responsibilities include:
- Create new keys and duplicate existing keys
- Respond to emergency lockout situations promptly and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of all services provided
Requirements:
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics
- Mechanical knowledge for various lock systems
- Experience as auto mechanic is advantageous
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with auto estimating procedures
- Knowledge of maintaining locks in residential, commercial, and automotive settings
- Previous experience working with GM vehicles is a bonus
- Understanding of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a bonus.
