What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ex Mod Analyst position at Lockton Companies Social Sourcing?
LOCKTON, the world's largest independent insurance brokerage, is seeking an Experience Mod Analyst to join our West Series. As a part of our larger West Analytics Team, this specialized role will focus on Experience Mods (Ex-Mods) affecting our clients’ and prospects’ Workers Compensation policies. This candidate will need to have a core understanding of analytics and an interest in growing into an internal expert and a client-facing consultant.
Expectations:
• Preparing applicable loss data for analysis
• Preparing Ex-Mod projections/reports at a high volume
• Regular communication with all Ex-Mod bureaus on our clients and account teams’ behalf
• Knowledge base of all applicable bureau manuals, including updates to rates and rule changes
• Preparing analytical models of ownership changes and combinations across various bureaus and states
• Consulting with account teams and clients on all Ex-Mod related topics
• Best practice consultations on Ex-Mod improvement strategies
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in insurance preferred but not required
• Ex-Mod experience preferred but not required
• Analytics experience preferred but not required
• Mid to high level knowledge of Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly relay information to account teams or the client
• Creative thinking regarding opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Organizational skills
This position may be eligible for annual discretionary bonus consideration.
