Position Overview:
Lockton Northeast is seeking a seasoned consultant to join our People Solutions Communications Practice, which uses multimedia communication to engage employees and increase the perceived value of their benefits. You will have strong communication consulting and content development skills, plus HR/benefits subject matter expertise.
This role can be fully remote; or hybrid if the geography allows.
Core Responsibilities
- Leading the development of – and/or writing content for – digital and print communication that engages employees and helps clients achieve their business goals.
- Managing client projects and relationships.
- Consulting with clients at the senior HR level on a wide variety of employee communication topics, including health care, wellness, retirement, total rewards, benefit plan changes, and more.
- Proposing solutions that leverage best practices and creative thinking.
- Creating and nurturing strong client relationships, becoming their trusted partner and influential advisor on communication-related issues.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience with minimum 5 years’ experience in content development.
- Content development – comfortable with the big picture and the details.
- Comfortable engaging with clients.
- Ability to combine source materials, input from subject matter experts and other relevant documentation to create engaging communication.
- Accountable for assignments/projects to ensure they’re delivered with excellence.
- Comfortable learning and applying new technologies.
- Software fluency, including the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to work virtually, with flexibility to travel (up to 15%).
- Must be able to legally work in the United States and not require sponsorship for this position now or in the future.

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
