Surety Account Manager (Hybrid Position in Conshohocken, PA or West Hartford, CT)

Role Responsibilities:
- Day-to-Day Servicing : Oversee the daily management of clients’ surety programs, including bond execution and lifecycle document maintenance.
- Client Service : Deliver bonds and services, respond to inquiries, maintain documentation, and support new bond implementations.
- Billing and Documentation: Handle new and renewal billings, ensure accuracy, maintain confidentiality, and manage documentation throughout the bond's life.
- Communication : Collaborate effectively with clients, underwriters, partners, and internal teams. Keep clients informed about industry changes and proactively address evolving bond requirements.
- Collaboration: Partner with account executives and practice leaders to establish and maintain client surety programs. Participate in client meetings, maintain account notes, and create client-facing surety program dashboards and documents.
- Relationship Building : Foster positive relationships with surety markets and clients.

- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience. For Account Manager positions: 3 to 5 years of surety client service experience. For Senior Account Manager positions: 6 or more years of relevant experience.
- Skills: Proficient in bond and surety business with experience in servicing contract and commercial surety accounts. Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, online surety issuing systems, and SurePath/Tinubu platform are a plus.
- Other Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain state-specific P&C Insurance License and Notary Public.
- Professional Skills: Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions, communicate professionally and tactfully, and instill confidence and comfort in external clients.
- Work Environment: Contribute to a cohesive, flexible, and pleasant work environment. Willingness to expand knowledge and effectiveness in the surety industry through extended classes and workshops. Some travel may be necessary.
