What are the responsibilities and job description for the Virtual Executive Assistant position at LoCo Think Tank?
Are you an experienced virtual assistant with a passion for small business and local community? Are you looking for a high-impact role working with an entrepreneurial founder and a close-knit team? Are you comfortable with tasks ranging from email and calendar management to podcast guest scheduling and sales support? Are you comfortable with new technologies and do you have excellent communication skills?
If yes to all of the above, I’d like to connect with you and talk about a new role we’re creating at LoCo Think Tank. Virtual Executive Assistant to me - Curt Bear - Founder of LoCo Think Tank and Host of The LoCo Experience podcast.
LoCo Think Tank is a Northern-Colorado based business peer advisory model, founded in 2014 and built upon the give-back instincts of high-achieving local business leaders serving in the role of LoCo Facilitators. Our members engage in once-monthly half-day chapter meetings that I often describe as two-parts board meeting, one part support group, and work to sharpen each other as leaders through the perspective, accountability, and encouragement of peer advisory. Over time we’ve grown to provide peer advisory chapters for small, mid-size, and next-level business leaders, along with chapters for key employees.
The LoCo Experience podcast was created in 2020, as something of a fusion between NPR’s “How I Built This” podcast and the Joe Rogan Experience podcast - but with a Northern Colorado guest list. We’ve featured many of our members and facilitators, along with inspiring and entertaining business and community leaders from all around the region - and beyond. The LoCo Experience has won the Best of NOCO award for Best Local Podcast the last two years, and has featured a number of exclusive guests. We’re nearing the end of season 4, which will come with our 200th episode and the launch of full-video episodes!
This role is meant to maximize Curt’s sales impact and organizational leadership, and allow Curt to be both adequate recruiter and gatekeeper and leader for our chapter members and facilitators and team, and create space for implementation of EOS and development of a new market strategy, where LoCo Think Tank can expand its impact to new communities.
This role is imagined as a 5 - 10 hour per week role once stabilized, perhaps on the heavy side of that in the early months. This could be a W-2 or a contract role, depending on the preferences of the preferred candidate, and is mostly flexible schedule and primarily remote. And - we love our community in Northern Colorado, and like to get to know our team in person, so local residents will be preferred in the application process. Ideal candidates will have strong references and at least 3 years of qualifying experience.
Salary : $30 - $50
