LocumJobsOnline is working with Cynet Locums to find a qualified General Surgery PA in Connecticut!About The PositionJob Title : General Surgery Physician Assistant Job Specialty : Surgical - General Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-Hour Day Shifts Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Inpatient surgery, OR, and / or trauma experience required License : CT license preferred Certifications : NCCPA, BLS, ALCS, ATLS, DEA Must-Have : Epic EMR experience Job Description : - Licenses, Certifications, Requirements : CT license preferred, NCCPA, BLS, ALCS, ATLS, DEA- Inpatient surgery, OR, and / or trauma experience required- Preferred Schedule : 3-12hr shifts per week, alternating between 6a-6p and 6p-6a; 2 day shifts and 1 overnight shift per week, with 2 weekend shifts per month- Worksite Setting : Inpatient- Scope of Work : Average of 25-40 patients per shift split between two teams, including vascular surgery during the day; night shifts involve shared patient coverage between two providers- Services provided : Inpatient general surgery, trauma, vascular, plastics, colorectal, surgical oncology, and thoracic services; Rounding; Consults; Respond to trauma; OR coverage- Comfortable working independently- Procedures required : I&D, debridement, chest tube, NGT - Requisition Comments and Notes : Float Required : No1594453EXPPLATJob RequirementsRequired for Onboarding
