LocumJobsOnline is working with Medicus Healthcare Solutions to find a qualified Emergency Medicine MD in Utah!About The PositionOpportunity DetailsMedicus has partnered with a federal facility in southwestern Utah with a contract assignment for a Medical Director to assist their team.About the Assignment :
- Schedule : 8-hour days shifts, but must be available to provide 24 / 7 medical direction
- Setting : Pre-hospital EMS care in outdoor environments
- Annual Volume : ~300 calls for service, growing volume
- Will lead and oversee EMS team and program
- Team Structure : EMS providers, including EMTs, Advanced EMTs, and Paramedics
- Preferred Experience : 5 years of medical direction experience, 5 years of wilderness medicine experience, 5 years of search and rescue experience
- Must be board-certified in emergency medicine (ABEM, AOBEM, or BCEM)
