About The Position
Job Title : Locum Tenens Physician Job Specialty : Surgery - General Job Duration : 4-month contract Shift : Day - 8x5 - 09 AM Guaranteed Hours : 8 Experience : Not specified License : Minimum Board Certification Certified Certifications : Not Required Must-Have : Experienced in breast surgery Job Description : - Long-term commitment required for in-clinic work, call coverage, endo suite procedures, and operating room time. - Required to perform endoscopic procedures with patient encounters ranging from 5-10 per shift. - Pre-approval needed for long-term housing arrangements. - Facility with a trauma level 4. - Specialty skills required include General Surgery, Adult, Trauma, Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Breast Surgery, and Chest Tube Insertion. - Preferred skills include GI endoscopy (Upper, Lower, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy) and Central Line Insertion. - Pediatric, neonate, and various other specialized procedures are not required. - Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days.
