About the Role
This is a short-term opportunity for a skilled Gastroenterology physician to provide medical coverage at a healthcare facility in Longview, Texas.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Upper & Lower GI endoscopy, ERCP, and other procedures as outlined below. We require the ability to work effectively in an Inpatient setting and supervise APPs as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- IP and ED Consults, Transfers, Admissions
- Procedures:
- Upper & Lower GI endoscopy, ERCP
- Esophageal dilatation/manometry & interpretation
- Small Bowel biopsy
- Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Liver biopsy
- Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
- Trauma Level: III
- EMR: Athena, Medhost
- Temporary Privileges available: Yes
Requirements
- Active TX License
- BC/BE
- ACLS
