About The Position
Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Locum TenensJob Specialty: Neonatology Nurse PractitionerJob Duration: 13 monthsShift: Day - 12x2, 07AM start time, 12 or 24-hour shifts (7AM-7PM or 7AM-7AM)Guaranteed Hours: 8 hoursExperience: Significant experience in high-volume delivery room settings preferredLicense: Must be board certified or eligibleCertifications: Other required certificationsMust-Have: Experience in neonatal intensive care units, specifically level 3 NICUJob Description:- Seeking two additional providers with significant availability for locum tenens positions.- Coverage will encompass multiple locations, providing care in level 3 NICUs.- Candidates will handle smaller and more intensive cases, especially in high-volume delivery settings.- Engage in unit-based support, attend deliveries, and perform procedures.- Collaborate with neonatal physicians who conduct daily patient check-ins.- Utilize office facilities for administrative tasks during and after shifts.- Providers may work either 12 or 24-hour shifts depending on the facility and coverage needs.- Local candidates preferred but options available for traveling candidates with extended shift arrangements.- Credentialing process estimated to take 60-90 days.Note: This position requires commitment to a team-oriented environment that emphasizes patient care and collaboration with all medical staff.
