As a locum tenens provider, you will have the opportunity to work in Montgomery, Alabama, where you will be responsible for providing medical care to patients with various obstetric and gynecological conditions. Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be required to perform routine deliveries, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and minor laparoscopic procedures. Additionally, they will need to manage prenatal care and diagnose any complications that may arise during pregnancy. A strong understanding of ACLS protocols is also essential for this role. We offer competitive compensation and paid malpractice insurance, as well as prepaid travel and housing expenses.
Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess an active state license and certification in BCLS. A minimum of 3580 deliveries per year is required, with the ability to track over 4000 deliveries annually. Credentialing and DEA registration are also necessary.
